What is the benefit of booking through Solus? By using our bulk purchasing power, we are able to negotiate discounted rental rates with some of the world's top vehicle rental companies. These savings are passed onto you in the form of cheaper car hire. What's included in the price? Your rental rate will include the discounted vehicle hire charges for the period booked, unlimited, Collision Damage and Theft Waivers, Third Party Liability insurance, airport taxes (where applicable) and all local taxes applicable (except Australia). A damage/loss excess may apply; this amount will be confirmed as part of your rental quotation. Please note certain prestige vehicles may carry a higher excess and may also have a mileage restriction. How can I pay for my rental? Solus accepts all major credit cards except American Express or Diners. We also accept Switch and Maestro. What happens if the car group booked is not available at pick up? If the vehicle group booked is unavailable at the point of pick, the supplying agent will provide you will an upgrade at no additional cost. Can I amend my booking? We will do our best to assist with any requests to amend a booking. Please provide as much notice as possible to enable any such changes to be made and confirmed to you. Can anyone else drive the vehicle? Only those who are authorised by the supplying agent may drive. A full driving licence for all additional drivers must be produced. The supplying agent may, at their discretion, decline to accept any drivers should they fail to meet the qualifying criteria. If my flight is delayed, will my vehicle still be available? Providing you have advised Solus of your in-bound flight details at the point of booking, these will be passed to the supplying agent to ensure your vehicle is made available. What documents do I need? You will be required to produce a valid driving licence showing your entitlement to drive the vehicle booked. In addition you will be asked to provide a valid credit card to cover the excess / deductible applicable, potential fuel charges and any other applicable surcharges or optional extras for which you are liable locally. Most suppliers require proof of identification (passport). Please note that the rental supplier is unable to allocate a car to a customer without the presentation of your complete driving licence, including any paper counterparts issued.
